Is Mobile Deposit secure?
Mobile Deposit offers the same level of security that you have with Online Banking. Check images are stored securely at the bank and not on your mobile phone.
Will my device work with Mobile Deposit?
Generally, the more recent versions of Apple and Android devices with internet connectivity will work. Currently supported Android operating systems are:
Jelly Bean 4.1 to 4.3
Android devices using an operating system below Jelly Bean 4.1 will not be able to download the Mobile Banking app.

Your device will need a rear-facing camera in order to take a picture of checks you want to deposit. We recommend at least a 2-megapixel camera for best results.
What types of checks are accepted with Mobile Deposit?
Business checks, including paychecks
How will I know if the bank received my Mobile Deposit?
After you submit the check images, you will receive a screen message on your device saying the deposit was received. If there is a problem with the deposit, you will receive a rejection message.
Are there limits on how much I can deposit using Mobile Deposit?
Yes, daily limits are displayed within the application.
When will the mobile check deposit appear in my online banking account?
Checks deposited before 6:00 p.m. Eastern Time Monday through Friday will appear in your online banking account the next business day. (A business day is any day the bank is open for business.) Deposits made after 6:00 p.m. Eastern Time on Friday or anytime Saturday or Sunday will appear in your online banking account two business days later. If your deposit is rejected for any reason, you will be notified by email. Mobile check deposits are subject to review prior to acceptance.
What should I do with the check once I have made a Mobile Deposit?
Write "Mobile Deposit" along with the date of deposit on the check and keep it for at least two weeks in case verification is needed. After that, we recommend that you shred or otherwise destroy the check.
Can I use Mobile Deposit to re-deposit a check returned for non-sufficient funds (NSF)?
NSF checks cannot be re-deposited using Mobile Deposit. Please present the check at any First Financial branch.
