FIRST On-The-Go FAQs

How do I access First Financial Bank Mobile Banking?
In order to access FIRST On-The-Go, you need First Online Internet Banking access (a valid User Name and Password) and a mobile device with an Internet connection. Simply enter the First Financial Bank Mobile Banking URL, FirstOnTheGo.com, into the browser of your Internet-enabled wireless device and then log in using your First Online Internet Banking User Name and Password.

Who is First Financial Bank’s Mobile Banking provider for mobile banking?
MShift powers FIRST On-The-Go. For more information on MShift, visit their web site at http://www.mshift.com.

Which mobile devices are supported for FIRST On-The-Go?
You can access FIRST On-The-Go from any Internet-enabled mobile phone (such as WAP phones), PalmOne OS device, Pocket PC, iPhone or Blackberry. Note: The devices must be Internet enabled.

How does FIRST On-The-Go handle security?
FIRST On-The-Go Mobile Banking is encrypted using the Wireless Transport Layer Security (WTLS) protocol, which provides the highest level of security available today. Additionally, all data that passes between the wireless gateway, MShift’s Servers and First Financial Bank web servers is encrypted using the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) layer.

Is there a fee to use FIRST On-The-Go?
No. FIRST On-The-Go is free of charge.1 However, normal fees for your cell phone service will apply.

What First Online Internet Banking services does FIRST On-The-Go include?
FIRST On-The-Go provides you with all the banking services that you can access with First Online on your computer. You will be able to:

  • View account summaries
  • View account transaction history
  • Transfer funds
  • View cleared checks
  • View due bills (eBills)
  • Pay Bills
  • View pending bill payments
  • Cancel pending bill payments
  • View bill payment histories

New accounts for funds transfers and new payees for online bill payment must be set up through First Online before they will be accessible through FIRST On-The-Go.

What happens if I get locked out of FIRST On-The-Go Mobile Banking?
As with First Online Internet Banking, you must call First Online Customer Service to reset your password. Once your password is reset, you must first specify your new password on First Online via your PC. For security reasons, you may not specify your new password on FIRST On-The-Go. Once your password is set up on your PC, you may use your User Name and Password to immediately log in to FIRST On-The-Go.

Can I use First Financial Bank Mobile Banking if I don’t have a First Financial Bank account?
No. You must have a First Financial Bank account and a First Online User Name and Password in order to use Mobile Banking. Sign up for online banking here.
